I’m looking for a good summer camp. Any ideas?

I am 14 and I’ve never been to a camp before. My friends go to Camp Gorham, but it’s like $700! And my parents already said they aren’t going to pay that much. I live in New York, so maybe a camp in the Adirondaks? But like I said before not an expensive one my price range is like $150- 350. Preferibly one on a lake!
OMG best camp in the world = Pioneer ranch camp in Edmonton, Canada you should definately go there! its near a lake and everything ik its far away heck i live REALLY far away from it nowhere near Canada! but it’s really fun! i think its lyk $1000 tho ): sorry no joke beg your parents if you can go there! i am a trustworty source in telling you its amazing!! trust me!!
That’s already a fairly low price, the Boys/girls clubs, Boy scouts, Girl scouts, other YMCAs all are right in that range. Some church camps may be in the price range your looking for because the church subsidizes the costs. For Camp Gorham perhaps they offer a Campership if your parents qualify call them and ask, many communities also offer camperships so call you local mayor as well.
