Is it possible to still play bball for college when i dont play for my highschool?

ok so i was on the basketball team my freshman year but got cut afterwards my coach never told me why so dont ask. but im not goin to let that stop me and i need some ideas on how to still get looked at
i know about aau and if your an aau player and your good you will get letters to camps or evaluations but i need to know how i can get noticed during the winter season as of right now i live in growing city in tennessee but do not want to wait for aau season to start.

P.S. Is it really that hard to get noticed if you dont play for your high school???? i’m 15 and really good

    yes but it will be MUCH harder, try to gt onto a team i high school and if you cant youstill could but it would be harder

    micheal jordan didnt make any basketball teams he tried out for until he was in college. now look at where he is

    keep trying out. you’re only a freshman.

    (and the MJ story is BS, he was only cut from his freshman team in high school)

    you definitely need to get onto some organized team school, aau, community…something with a real coach that will help correct your weak areas….I would recommend talking to that coach and being a man about it and ask him why he cut you and what would he recommend you work on for next year…but if you decide not to play school ball…..most junior colleges have walk-on try outs and if you are good enough, a 4 year school will notice and offer you a scholarship.

    …..and to correct the other guys Jordon got cut from the VARSITY team as a freshman, but played JV that year and made varsity the next year.
