Is this a form of liberal fascism?

Many Hillary supporters are moving into the McCain camp. Do democrats really support freedom of thought and choice? It seems like it is restricted unless you blindly support their candidate no matter how left he is.
Hardly “liberating” if you ask me. The democrats are sending a strong message that the only liberty you have is to freely choose your yoke and wear it or free yourself and be an outcast.
I never spoke for anyone, but thanks for re-affirming my hypothesis.
I am not holding democrats to the same standards as the GOP, but obviously some democrats are. This excuse seems like a cop out on liberty.

according to polls… THE VAST MAJORITY OF HILLARY FANS plan to vote for Obama… of course there are a few that won’t…
the lady you mention was also in campaign ads for McCain… that was where she really “broke the camel’s back”…
it was much more than just freedom… it was rubbing Obama’s face in it…

Oh, I think that the Democrats do respect freedom of speech. It is, after all, what permits them to hold such conventions, and field candidates to run against the Republicans, though the smartness of what each side does with the freedom of speech they have is open to debate.
What this is is an attempt to get rid of a potential embarrassment. The Democratic Party, like the Republican Party, wants to promote party unity. By having one person voting for McCain instead of Obama, it shows that the Dems aren’t as unified as one might think. This could be used against them in the remainder of the campaign.

Nobody is questioning, let alone restricting her freedom of choice.
That said – the Democratic National Convention is for Democrats – if we wanted Republicans there we would invite them.

The position of delegate (for both parties) is not designed for them to pick anyone they want in the field, it is to choose the nominee of their party. You can find out more if you just go read about them?
