Leagel or not ? Firearm in Minnesota Boundry waters while camping as protection only? ?

I am an illinois resident with a firearm identification card or FOID. planning on fishing and camping in minnesota boundary waters. Can I carry my revolver while in wilderness as protection only?

    YES….ALL states have a exemption for FISHING, HUNTING, and other LEGAL activities to carry laws….

    ** tho u will need to check as to whether its open carry only or concealed is allowed as well……..if it matters…

    You don’t need a FOID card in Minnesota. You can walk right in to a walmart and as long as you are 16, they will sell you a bunch of guns and all the ammo you can carry. However, you cannot carry a concealed firearm in Minnesota.

    You should also keep in mind that you might be breaking the law if you cross over into Canadian waters with a loaded firearm.
