Looking for outdoor survival training in Idaho?

I have google searched just about everything you can think of to find an outdoor survival course/class/program. I can’t find what I am looking for. I want to go with a trained expert, or small group, and learn hands-on how to survive and live in the woods (not homesteading or life or death survival, but just everything) I want to learn first-aid, cooking, building shelter, blah blah. But I cannot for the life of me find anything like that. What I do find is Alderleaf college, NOLS, Outdoor something, and programs that are only 4 weekend trips. I just want to go with all my camping stuff and learn.

I live here and am doubtful an organization exists that meets your goals. If you have the funds, hire a guide to take you out with the understanding that you want to learn aspects of wilderness travel. If you have the time, volunteer with an outdoor program such as Scouting.
First aid classes from CPR and first responder to EMT are given throughout the state on a regular basis and are a foundation for more specialized wilderness rescue. Check with local fire departments and/or search and rescue or Sheriff’s posse.
Cooking is a lot of trial and error. Experiment at home before hitting the trail.
Community colleges, larger outdoor stores, or ask around about camping/backpacking clubs.
Read books. (Search Kindle) Go to wilderness area. (Search Wikipedia) Survive. (On your own.)
NOLS or National outdoor leadership school is an excellent choice I suggest you sign up for their program. If your under 18 still The Boy Scouts of America is another great program. The Sierra Club also has outdoor skills training. If your 18 and over nothing beats what the US Army or Marines can train you to do. Good Luck!
I doubt there is one program, outside of the military, that has all the training you’re looking for. You will need to get your training piecemeal. Do your searches based on narrower subjects. Consider what resources are available in your community.
EMS/Fire Dept. often host CPR and first aid training, as does the Red Cross.
How old are you; are Boy Scouts an option?
REI regularly runs seminars and training sessions on a variety of outdoor activities.
Is there a climbing/hiking/camping organization at your local university?
Does your local college host mini-classes in any of the subjects you’re interested in?
