The military does not have any “boot camps” for 14 year olds but you can enlist when you’re 17. You wont actually go to boot camp when you’re 17 though. First of all, if you do decide to enlist at age 17, you have to have a parent or guardian’s signature. You’ll go to boot camp after you GRADUATE high school. I put that into all caps because a lot of people enlist but don’t graduate and therefore are kicked out. So not boot camp for 14 year olds, you can enlist at 17 with a parent/guardian’s signature, and you go to boot camp if you graduate high school.
Some things you can do to prepare yourself for the military though would be joining CAP, JROTC or PT with the Marines. I do PT.
There is no “boot camps” however you can look for a CAP (civil air patrol) or jrotc (junior reserve officer training corps) that will give you a feeling what it’s like in the military. I’m in the cap and this summer we are leaving for 1 month for a “simulation” for basic training. Joining one of these auxiliaries gives you bonuses as well, if you join one then when you go to basic training for any branch you will be a rank higher than everyone else
There is no “official” boot camp for 14 year olds, you will need to enlist at 17 or go to college and then apply for officer candidate school. At 14 there a programs that depending on what you are interested in doing pertain to you. In high school there are Air Force and Army JROTC programs, there’s also the CAP (civil air patrol) and in some states the Young Marines. I have done all of these, you will learn military drill and they will issue you a uniform and you will learn the history of the program, and in some cases the real military branch these programs are based off of. You can also advance in rank and go to special camps and programs to gain leadership experience. Also they look good on applications.
also you might want to look into ROTC programs in college, different colleges have different programs with the different branches. good luck
