Minneapolis theater camps?
I live in Minneapolis, Minnesota and I’m looking for a theater camp during the summer that puts on a production. I’ve looked at Stages Theater, Children’s Theater, Guthrie Theater. I just want something in the summer that I can do in addition to my part time job. I’m 14 so I’m not going to be working a whole bunch. So I need to find a theater that’s not for acting pros, not for beginners, but for someone in between. Also it can’t be one of those things that are like a week long.
Steppingstone theater is another one. Most summer theater camps are a week long… not sure how you could put on a production in less than a week. My friend’s daughter attends a theater program through the Richfield Evangelical Lutheran church – places like that might offer something different.
