with a rifle and he broke his jaw but survived (thank god)…how can I help him through these times? he is 16 and used to be my neighbor and I love the kid to death. I don’t spend too much time with him but I will visit him in the hospital this weekend…I’m thinking of writing him a poem and telling him I will always be there for him. I am currently planning a trip to camp at the Delaware river with him as well…please give me some ideas to help this kid with depression.

My family is known for having depression and I am lucky I don’t get that depressed that I want to commit suicide but what can I do to help him??? thanks!
