Mmmn. I’m trying to picture in my minds eye what that outside of you RV looks like. I think it must be self propelled and not some type of a trailer, i.e. not an Airstream, hence I think I saw two front seats (driving compartment) behind the white curtains. I would like to retire to live in an RV. I wonder how easy it is to avoid paying rent as my pension will be very slim. Hmmm.
I have been reading your blog. Seems each day would be an adventure, when living in an RV.
Most appealing, is the ability to leave a city, any time you feel like a change.
If the climate doesn’t suit you, then just turn on the key and hit the road. I think you are way ahead of your time.
Jennifer, food for thought. Consider writing an autobiography, then find a publisher. Your life is unique, share your story with the world. Becoming an author could be your new profession.
Is this your property or is this some sort of park you are staying at? Looks really beautiful.
@wynn904: It is not cheaper than living in an apartment, for me. It is cheaper than living in my house. Check out my blog livinginmycar com for more info on that stuff.
Love your home….thanks for sharing. I’m about as green as your walls with jealousy
Would you please tell me how you are able to live out of this RV on a daily basis?
For example, how do you hook up for electricity, water and internet without it exceeding the cost of living in an apt?
Also, wouldn’t white walls make the small space look larger and cleaner?
Am looking forward to your response.
Thanks.
Very nice home! Love the paint!
wow VERY nice
I have the same color cabinets in my kitchen … and recently painted the walls the same color green … I love it … A few of my sisters ?questioned? the tone of green at first … then within a few months … painted their kitchens the same … I was raised in an RV family … I love the lifestyle … nothing compares to being with nature … Your RV is awesome!
lol I thought I was the only person that liked green walls… till seeing this vid
“Living in 125 sq. ft…… I love it !”
Fantastic ! pay attention Al Gore !
I love how you’ve decorated the space and made it your own! (And I love the green.)
Paint the legs on the computer table green? BTW this is Lake Worth RV Ranch in Fort Worth, Texas. Look us up, if you ever make it to Texas.

I am planing to buy an Rv and live in it full time but the problem is that I live in the city and bc of my job and can’t find a cheep place to put it.
Love your RV and the colour choice is really soothing but homely. My husband and I are trying to buy a house at the mo but the banks dont like me as I’m self employed…if all else fails we are getting an RV to save money and buy a small patch somewhere for cash. Personally I think I would prefer an RV anyway.
this is great to see, my wife and i plan to move into an RV next year (full time) and we are both 28. i don’t want to do what my counter-parts are doing, i want to live differently
Pretty nice….I’m impressed….you prove that you CAN live fairly comfortably …while not having to go the same route as the mainstream….I think about doing this often….and would….I’m a little apprehensive about doing it alone…..not at first…..but in the long run….
The couch is a ‘jackknife’ bed. Sort of like a futon, you pull on the bottom and it flattens out. It is uncomfortable because the lumbar part of the sofa back is a huge lump that doesn’t flatten out. I removed the dinette, which actually was a reasonably comfortable bed for a person under 5’8″. Both are single width. Overhead bunk is a double bed, but extra long.
@JenniferBlogAccount
All right, last questions (probably not):
1. The couch, I presume is a foldout bed?
2. Have you tried sleeping on it? Comfortable?
3. Does the overhead bed sleep two people?
Good tip on having a vehicle in tow for every day activity. I’ve never owned an RV, nor slept in one. I quit working in Iraq last year and have been traveling overseas for a year now. Looking forward to renting an RV and take it from there.

Jennifer, life is as beautiful as you are, so enjoy it. My happy place is when I’m out there camping, fishing and just sit around camp fire letting the smell saturated me. Loved the peacefulness and dark sky that displaced billions of stars. Hey life is too short Jennifer, so enjoy it.
You can find my budget on my blog at livinginmycar com
Sleeping on the cab over bed was much easier and more comfortable than I expected. it is worth the saved space. I have a two inch memory foam pad over the original mattress. The rear bed models have better resale value, though. I’ve met a lot of people in person and online who’ve moved into trailers because of an economic crisis. They loved it!
Trying to use my RV as my sole vehicle was a mistake, for exactly the reasons you described. If I were starting over, I’d probably drive a tow vehicle and tow a higher quality trailer.
