Ocean City Maryland Wilderness camping?

now I have read enough to know i can’t park in Wal-mart near Ocean City Maryland and sleep but are there any Non-Posted woods near Ocean City, MD i can pitch a tent and sleep?

    You should be able to do walmart must be a city code or something. If your homeless there are better options than sleeping in the woods somewhere and if you have kids you can get more assistance. Any of the national forests you can camp in and you can avoid fees by camping in dispersed areas. Yahoo search for whats near you. Good luck

    Do not mis-use the word “wilderness.” A “wilderness area” is a very specific, protected, non-motorized, politically-designated area in public lands. None exist in Maryland. There is also no National Forest in Maryland. However, the State of Maryland provides 2,000 campsites in its parks and forests for a fee.
