Moms and Dads who have travel trailers,lol…how often do you use them if you do not live?
in a year round warm climate, like say if you live in canada…and have one, do your kids love it when you use it, i am think ing of buying one as i have 2 boys and would love to experience some road trips with them and my husband…
we use ours about 5 times during the summer. my family is super busy all the time though
I have a travel trailer. I have four boys and I prefer tent camping over travel trailers. I use mine about 5-6 times a year. You can write it off as a second house – so it is tax deductable. If you can afford ir, why not? The standard “toy box” trailer with the hitch vrs. the 5th wheel is what I use. I’m not much for the mobile homes, to much moving around inside while your driving, especially with young boys, they have a ton of energy. You will spend most your time cooking and cleaning up after them instead of relaxing and enjoying the scenery.
Almost every weekend from may to September and a week or two long trip in the middle of summer.
Just make sure the stablizers are down if you plan on doing “you know what” in the middle of the night!
We had one when the children were small
Used it for holidays and most weekends in the summer
Money was tight with children but did we have fun
Without this my kids would not have been anywhere
Go for it and enjoy
