My friends and I always go camping in the Ocala National Forest. Our favorite place is Fore Lake. The camp sites are secluded from each other, there is a nice bathroom with shower. Grills at each site, and there is a small lake good for fishing. I have camped at salt springs I wouldn’t recommend it. It is a giant field where there are tons of campers and no real order to it. It does have the Salt Springs which are pretty. Alexander Springs are nice. Juniper springs is a great place too. As far as privacy goes, Fore Lake is the place to be ! If you google it you can find out directions prices etc.

Personally I would choose Silver River State Park. It’s right next door to Silver Springs and Ocala is fairly close.

As you surf throught the above site, you’ll notice several other state parks near Ocala. Rainbow Springs is another wonderfull campground.
