Rescued dogs need creative ideas that would make their lives so much better?
I know u may think my devotion to rescuing dogs may seem nuts and maybe i am.
Changes in my life gave me the opportunity to try to help in way I thought could really make a difference i noticed was a big problem after katrina.
I bought a motorhome and offer transport for many, anytime, anywhere.
My biggest problem is trying to figure out a way for them to be able to go out and be contained without having to walk them three times a day. which is difficult when I have TEN dogs of all sizes with all issues,(diabetes, blind, abused, abandoned)
since we never know where we r going next and not many places big enough or no one around to just let them out.
alot of people are very unfriendly to be next to so many dogs at rv lots.
i dont have them long enough to train them with electric collars.
i think somekind of fence may be my only option but has to be portable, but high enough for the big ones and strong enough not to fall when they jump up on it . they would never be unsupervised but wou be great tp put them out fresh air and give me a chance to clean without them inmy way.
we all get grumpy if i cant find a place, lose alot of time and gas.
I do all of this free of charge and I do not recieve funding from anyone. I take full responsibility for them
while they are in m care.
Im sorry for this being solong but I didnt want waste ur time without all the facts and this is very important and seriously need help.

They make portable dog runs. Try here:

Here’s another:

when we go to dog shows in rv’s we use expens connected to each other by tyraps. Metal shelving attached to the underside of the rv, so they can’t
get underneath. Open the crates, dogs go out and are secure. Sounds too expensive for your circumstances though.
One thought though….when dog shows are over there are always crates, expens etc. left over that owners have left behind….go on AKC.org to find shows in your area and ask for the left overs…usually the show clean up crews take it all home for themselves…if you help with clean up they might be willing to donate it to you.
I agree with the other 2. I just wanted to tell you that there really should be more people like you out there!!! I am glad that you don’t use electric collars, those can be a bit harsh on them.
