Revlon Colorstay Foundation and other make-up questions?

I am going to New York in two weeks for a theater camp and have heard great reviews about this product. I have combination skin (lucky me) with dry cheeks and oily nose and forehead with acne. Any idea which one I should get since I know there is different kinds? Also, I was planning on using covergirl powder and urban decays new all nighter makeup setting spray. Being from Oregon I have no idea how to deal with the New York humidity so any thing helps, thanks

well any cheap branch of make up isnt going to stay well, i suggest makeup forever matte velvet or mac studio fix fluid and make sure you use a primer to help it from sliding off
Here’s what I suggest…
-If you want your face products to stay, you have to layer them. I know, it may sound crazy, but trust me, it works. First, spritz your face with water, and then apply a light coating of a light moisturizer that has SPF in it. Then, apply a lightweight, liquid concealer to your eyes (darkness) or to wherever else you have imperfections (acne, discoloration). I know, liquid products in heat?-But, hang on, and I promise they will last you all day! Then, apply a pressed powder to all over your face. Apply a second coat if you feel it’s needed. This will help your makeup to last all day, because the concealer is sticking to the moisturizer, and then the powder sets it and makes it last all day.
-For your eyes, (if you plan on wearing any eye makeup), I would go with liquid or cream eye liners or cream shadows. I know, liquid products in heat-but, again, it’ll work, I promise! Apply a thin line of a dark brown or black liquid or creme/gel eye liner to your top lash line. Keep your eyes closed for ten seconds for the product to fully dry. Then, apply a cream shadow your eye lids, in a light shade, like light pink, lavender, or sky blue. Now, take a powder eye shadow in a matching color (to your creme shadow), and apply it overtop of the creme eye shadow. Blend it well. To help the liner stay, either take a matching matte eye shadow and apply it thinly overtop the shadow, or take a matching eye liner pencil and run it over the gel/creme line. Add a coat of clear mascara (to act as mascara primer), and then apply a coat or two of a dark brown or black waterproof mascara.
-For lasting cheeks and lips, I would recommend purchasing a creme blush. Maybelline’s Dream Matte Mousse is fantastic! If you want, add a matching powder blush overtop of it. For your lips, get a lip stain, the one from CoverGirl has amazing shades and staying power! Add a coat of clear lip gloss overtop of it if you want.
Yeah its OK, the colour matches me well, thought the only thing I don’t like is that you can still see your pores… it actually seems to make them larger. Maybe if you buffed it in it would look better. Also I t has no pump so you have to pour it out and thats quite hard. Apart from that I recommend it!
