Summer camp in wisconsin?

Hi, I am going to camp in northern wisconsin for ten weeks this summer and would like to know how the summers are up there (im from farther south). I know that it is colder in early june, but how cold? also, i know there are huge mosquitoes. What about bees? I hate bees and they are EVERYWHERE down here. If you could answer these questions and anything else you can think of please help me out!

The Minnesota state bird is the mosquito. In Wisconsin, the mosquito is considered a bird of prey. Paul Bunyan tied them down with rope. Bees are no problem. Hornets primarily infest apple and pear orchards. Wood ticks can be so thick the bushes are blackened with them when they emerge in spring. Carry DEET and try to stay on higher, dryer ground for your campsites. One day of three is statistically a rainy day in Wisconsin during June. Nights will be barely above freezing, which should slow down the mosquitoes so you can out-run them. Take a good down sleeping bag and keep it dry inside a good tent with a full rainfly. If you are car-camping, then pack a large tarp to cook under during thunderstorms. Wisconsin is a beautiful state with more than 10,000 lakes. The muskies are big enough to bite your hand off. Chequamegon, sha-QUA-ma-gun, is a beautiful national forest.
