Things to do in Texas?

My family is looking for a little family excitement during a weekend in February. We’re looking for something near home (Dallas, Texas). Are there any ranches where you can ride horses and do fun activities? Even if it’s camping… We just want to get away for a little bit.

February is usually the coldest month so I’m not sure you’d want to camp near Dallas in February.
This is a great place for horseback riding.

Try Six Flags in Arlington, or Zero Gravity in Dallas. Also, Grapevine has a bunch of little antique shops, horse riding, a petting zoo, and great restaurants down Main St. There is also a Medieval Times in Dallas. Also for hay riding, horse riding, festival games and rides, try the ‘Double D Ranch’ in Dallas. We also have a children’s museum, and an ‘Art Garden’ which is free admission.
