Toilet not draining in travel trailer?

My fiance and I are staying in a camper because he travels alot due to work. We are having problems with our toilet though. We are hooked up to a septic tank (that was recently cleaned out), and we have the black water drain thing in the open position. Problem is, is that it is not draining. We can see the waste and water building up every time we flush the toilet, so we have stopped using it. I would appreciate any advise or ideas on how to fix this problem so we can use our toilet again! Thank you!

Make sure the drain valve is open, if it doesn’t work you have a plug in or at the top end of the drain pipe.A simple plunger might do the trick, just make sure the valve is open. Here is a link to a site with information for you

I have a friend who also has a travel allot (allotment).

I would suggest you check to see if there are two valves, which is a safety feature that is used a lot, but is never used alot.
