Traveling from California to Kansas on highway 40 need campsite need info!!!!!?
Must fly out to Bakersfield ,California and pack my late father’s stuff and begin our trip back to Topeka ,Kansas My wife can not drive thru mountain’s so taking highway 40 thru southern regien’s and trying to save money on travel expenses by camping on the way back.Wondering is thier anybody that know’s the route and camp ground site’s that are open this late in the year on highway 40 time is of great matter leaving in about two week’s so any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!
Go to at AAA office. They have travel books available called Campbooks and travel guides for specific States. Sometimes they don’t ask to see your membership card, so you can get these books for free. Otherwise, they’ll charge you a couple bucks if you’re a non-member. It should be a wealth of info for you.
