Walking Across Tennessee in a summer. Think it can be done?

Obviously I’d train up for it but I’m just wondering if this would even be feasible. I’d start Memorial Day at the Tennessee-North Carolina border and walk until I got to the Mississippi River and Memphis. Thing is, I’d have to finish around mid-to-late August, when college starts back up (this would be a “senior trip” kind of thing for me)

I think that if I were to walk 15 miles a day I could do it. I’d be camping a lot though. What do you think guys. Is this a feasible idea?

If you walk approximate a 10 minute mile (brisk walking) to a 15 minute mile(normal walking) it would take you aproximatley 2 hours and 30 minutes a day to 3 hours at 45 minutes , which dedicating a whole day to you can probably pace yourself at a minimum of 15 but do as much as you can. And depending on how north or south you are on the border of caroline its about 300-400 miles. And i am also guessing there is not a straight shot there so it could possibly take you if you walked 15 miles a day 20-27 days at 15 miles a day without including not walking DIRECTLY west so if you include that give it 22-30 days

Our rec center is doing a Walk Across TN this summer — in the gym. They figure the total mileage at 440 miles. Yes, it is feasible, but you need to be in shape, have some way to carry supplies (like lots of water), and a tolerance for heat.
