What are good fathers day ideas?

I haven’t decided what to get my dad for fathers day. Last night we camped out on our deck and i asked him and he said a jayhawk license plate for the front of his car. My mom says she’ll help in whatever i choose. I want to get him something else but can’t decide. Last year i got him the American Idol Encore CD,Royals online stats, and a card. What should I do this year besides the Jayhawk License Plate? He works at a health insurance company, he also referees, umpires, and officials city league and high school sports games. He likes KU, Kansas City Cheifs, Kansas City Royals, and doesn’t really have a favorite NBA team. What should i give him?

Take him to a Sunday brunch. Enjoy all the foods and talk about the family.
if he doesnt have new ref/ump gear go for that (get it personalized and that would be wonderful)
AI should have a new cd out now or soon try that
if you live somewhere with a ballfield that his favorite teams play at get him ticket for the game (if you are in KC get him season tickets or a couple tickets for home games)
KC Royals ballcap possibly signed by a major leaguer perhaps Mike Sweeney. Some major leaguers think if it is for a father’s day gift from a young daughter maybe he will go out of his way to sign a cap for you.
You can go to a sports memorabilia site and check out the gas grills, all decked out in yer favorite team!!
For fathers day me & my dad are playing baseball, and listening to all his fave songs on the stereo’s out back!
Here’s something creative that will be appreciated and you will have fun doing:
Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!
The crossword puzzle could be time consuming and a bit frustrating … you could do the same idea with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle.
Put your computer skills to work! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo Images Search, copy them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to put on posterboard.
Use graph paper, and pictures from magazines if you are not as good on the computer, and it will give it a homemade feeling.
This is a really beautiful poem too!
The things you taught me I will always know.
How could I not? The roots have sunk so deep:
All lessons of the heart that I will keep
No matter who I am or where I go.
Kids learn from what their parents are, and so
You are my book of life, the thoughts I reap;
From you I learned the rules of right and wrong
Against which I at times had to rebel,
Though with regret I carry with me still.
How lucky I am to have been loved so well,
Even as I pushed against your will,
Relying on a father fair and strong.

A hammock is always good, Take him for dinner. make him his favorite desert. tickets to a sporting event. a CD of his favorite music group. a fishing trip. dads usually love to go fishing. and it will give you time together.
a bottle of his favorite after shave. You could also find old picture of the two of you together and then scan them to your computer and make him a photo show on windows media. You can also add a song that tells your dad how you feel about him.
Please just give him what he wants since you did ask him, and then give him something from your heart. Take him to one of his favorite places and go have lunch out or go on a picnic.
if ur dad likes cars take him to a speed way
Get your child to make something, whether it is a homemade card or maybe a nice framed photo as that will tell it is from the heart x
the right answer is what he wants
a jayhawk licence plate
but if you could find some kind of personal airconditioner for him to where under his umpire uniform that would be cool too
Why not get him the jayhawk license plate-you did ask and that’s what he wants.
Hmmm. Yes yes.Show your father you love him. Make a scrapbook with all your favorite memories and gifts you had with you father.
