What are the regulations regarding having someone live in a camper outside my home in Virginia Beach?

I have a friend who has a camper/trailer and needs a place to stay and wants to park it outside my home for 6 months. Is this legal?

it depends on exact location and what year your land was purchased…
The obvious answer is that it is your property and you can put a camper on it if you want.
However, your neighbors could make the claim that you are lowering the value of their house by having an eyesore on your property. They could even make that claim if you are blocking a view.
The best idea would be for you to go to your local town hall and ask. They will be able to provide you with all of the permits and other paperwork you will need to mitigate any potential issues.
You also have to remember that this camper will need a water and sewer hookup which will be your largest legal hurdles.
you can say the driver has to take a rest before he can go on driving, cause he feels like hes not able to drive and wont let anybody else in the camper
