I’ll start at 1890, this was the era of the french-canadian war I believe, and the begginning of our new world. They go up so 1890 is 1890-1900.

Excuse the misspellings.

1900- Industrial Revolution, factories, and the mass production of many products, vehicles were also becoming popular, and the first airplanes.

1910- Titanic sank during this decade, World war 1 started, many unions and labor laws, as well as world treaties against chemical warfare (Mustard gas and Chlorine gas are very very bad, even in wars).

1920- Depression decade* Some war, mostly the great depression, it began at the end, loss of many jobs, beginning of FDR’s awesomeness, and food stamps and other things were created at this time. Radio’s are extremely popular, televisions becoming popular, electricity became increasing popular as well as buying stuff on debit.

1930- Mobsters Decade* Al Capone become very famous, the great depression was during this time, also prohibition etc.. etc…

1940- War Decade* Thats what I think of it by, biggest war, very famous war, ww2, and hitler killed lots of jews, Japanese were put in internment camps, revolution in guns, atom bomb and jet planes created by German scientists in America mostly.

1950- Simple Decade/Transition Decade*- Lots of normal houses, great economy, many products and new advertisting. I would say this is the second step in the start of our world today, the first being the industrial revolution. Women were still second-hand citizens here (no offense, they just were), and this was the main decade were advertisements showed happy families doing happy things, and things were simple.

1960′s- Music/Anger* Music gets a jump in popularity, rock thrives, rap is in its earliest form, dunno what else to say about this decade really. Oh yeah, black rights and schools no longer could seperate African Americans, and stuff.

1970′s- Funky Decade* Disco and pop were famous, partying was very common, and gangs started becoming famous (ghetto gangs), bloods and crypts are born, the world is awesome but violent at the same time. Vietnam war as well.

1980′s- I dont know decade* I dont know what to say about it, its a big one though, video games become popular, music is everywhere, including hair bands, people are generally conservative, racism and women prejudice is coming to and end but still their.

1990′s- When I was born, everyone seemed pretty cool, things were simple, there was less corruption, rock and roll ruled rap mostly, things were nice to me anyways, I was born 1993, lots of famous songs.

2000′s- 9/11, terrorism was a main concern (although cigarettes kill atleast 3x the people killed in the towers every day), No flying cars, NASA explored other planets like mars, lots of speculation, suspected y2k, etc. A NEW MILLENNIUM.

2010′s+ Technology is speeding up at a crazy rate, first black president (was 2008, but still), and I estimate in a few years, technology will become crazy, the whole world will be in a stale-mate, and science will (hopefully) influence the government more.

2020-2080, I suspect their will be 2 major parts of the world, the west, and the east, (kinda like it is now) and China will take over Japan, China and Russia will team up to take down the economy of USA, and the USA will become a single power, while China and Russia take over the rest of the world, while south america and mexico, and canada are contested. “I don’t know what will be used in WW3, but WW4 will be fought with sticks and stones”- Albert Einstein.

This is just my estimation on the future.

But WHAT DECADE would you live in if you could, you’re 18 and can be in any decade/ up to 2080.

I would pick the 1980′s it just seems right to me, fits my personality. Maybe the 2070′s or something too.
