Even when an immigrant pays taxes, it costs Americans more than the immigrant contributes into the system, according to Mr. Dane.
“We’re not soft-hearted on illegals if they pay taxes,” he said. “It’s a down payment on the enormous cost they have on the U.S.”
The largest cost of illegals is K-12 education, totaling $28.6 billion annually, Mr. Dane said. Of that, $12 billion is spent annually to educate illegal alien students and the remainder is to educate U.S.-born children of illegal aliens, who are considered U.S. citizens.

Any body with half a brain knows this. The employers will scoff because the cost of doing business is low and their payroll cost is low making them huge profits.
If illegals really generated so much income without costing anything the US would not be in a recession. With 12-20M illegals here every single state in the US would be in the black.
MX & S. AM. are the largest group of illegals here. Those countries people have little or no education or work skills and a large number live in poverty. Those countries are rich in natural resources. The governments are corrupt and do not represent the average person. If Hispanic illegals were so industrious, and had lower birth rates, their countries would be in better financial situations and the people more prosperous.
Illegals from other countries are better educated, have job skills and their countries are more prosperous. These people for the most part do not abuse gov programs. If that isn’t proof that illegals are a drain, especially from MX & S AM I don’t know what would.
very true, last week i was watching the news and it was brief, they said it was a summer camp for kids to learn english. i love kids, but when us tax payers have to pay to educate illegals in any way is wrong.

Over, and over, and over again, the illegal aliens will work for full wages under the table. Nine dollars an hour in California equals fifteen dollars an hour above the table.
Because they do it that way, they are also entitled to welfare and they get it rather frequently. The employer and the illegal should be put to work in a prison farm doing tomatoes someplace. But that list up there of the costs.. half the costs of the California are for grades K through 12. If the illegal aliens were not there, those costs would fall by over half. Over half.
Bottom line is clear too: the employers don’t pay them enough, they get welfare, and you and I pay for the costs of production. Our two parties want to continue with things as they are, and it is flately crazy. Throw those bumbs out!!!
