I think it is the worst scam happened so far
considering the issue.
so painful. My father is one of survivers. Real one. He was not, Thanks God in camp or ghetto, he was a kid when war started. His parents took the kids (5) and flee to Uzbekistan, my grandfather died there and both of my maternal grandparents died in evacuation due to hanger and diseases.
All survivers (those who were forced to move away from their homes as refugees) involved with the scam must have been at least 70+ years old. Most of them, are from former USSR like I am. None any of them, I am sure are Rockefeller’s or Maddoffs. They are facing $250,000 fine. who is going to pay?
How much the trial is gonna cost for taxpayers?
It is all about greed and making a fast buck. Money is the only motive.

Need to check some facts – they were not REAL survivors being swindled. The “survivors” used falsified records to obtain payment; these people claiming to be survivors received money in return for filing bogus applications. This did NOT use real survivors; False histories of persecution and fake birth dates were used. The phony Nazi victims would file the claim for compensation.
Tax payers have nothing to worry about! Not sure your source on the fine.
