It will be fine as long as you aren’t doing anything illegal.

In most situations you will be fine, using a developed campsite may be an issue since most destinations require someone to be 18 to hold the site and be responsible for the rest of the group. That is not an issue in dispersed area’s as in the national parks and forests where you hike in or drive to an open area and camp. In some situations city and county jurisdictions have curfew laws anyone under 18 is subject too, so get out and away from town to avoid that. If your on private land and have permission of the land owner there are no issues at all, with the exception of guns, drugs and alcohol anytime anywhere johnny law sees or hears what he thinks are violations you will have some explaining to do and the trip is over. Other then that have fun!

You can legally camp in National Parks, as long as you are not violating local curfew laws.
