What NJ or PA campsite (preferably with cabins) is the best to go camping with my dog?

We have had our dog for a little over a year and this would be our first time taking her camping. I thought that it might be best to rent a cabin rather than sleeping in a tent, because she reacts poorly to rain and thunder. I have been doing some research and I am having a hard time finding campgrounds that allow dogs in the cabins. We were considering going to the Delaware Water Gap, but I would be open to any good suggestions.

Sorry, but no campgrounds allow pets in cabins or other structures, or even on the grounds immediately around them (so you can’t tie your dog up outside the cabin). This is one universal rule I’ve found at every campground I’ve stayed at across the USA, (over 100), and is definitely true of all the NJ and PA state parks, as well as the commercial campgrounds near the Gap.
My dog (85lb Germain Shepherd/Husky mix) is also a big baby when it comes to rain and thunder. But she has no problem sleeping next to me in the tent during a storm. Except for State Parks in NJ, pets are generally allowed in tent/car/RV camping areas, as long as they don’t annoy your neighbors and you don’t leave them unattended.
NJ State Parks generally forbid pets in all camping areas, with a few exceptions this year through the Pet Friendly Camping Pilot Program (http://www.state.nj.us/dep/parksandforests/parks/pet_friendly_camping.html). I, for one, am happy to see NJ start considering the needs of families with pets through this pilot program.
Unfortunately no campsite would allow a pet .
I recommend you to go to the Delaware Water Gap.
