What should I write in my thankyou note to my boyfriends parents without sounding cheesy?
My boyfriend and I have been together for about 8 months. We spent a whole week in Maine together at his parents cabin. His parents didn’t come but I wanted to thank them for letting me come to their beautiful camp. I was thinking of sending them a picture that we took while we there but don’t know if that’s appropriate. Also how should I sign the letter?
You can never go wrong with sincerity. Tell them that you really appreciate them offering their cabin for use by you and your boyfriend. Tell them that the cabin is (beautiful, comfortable, welcoming, cozy, etc.) – whatever you really feel, and sign it Sincerely, Thanks again, Thanks so much, and then put your name. I don’t think it’s inappropriate to include a picture (unless it’s intimate with their son!). Please like to be told Thank You and not enough people do it these days.
