Adding Kevin Garnett to Ray Allen and Paul Pierce is a coup for the Boston Celtics, but it also figures to increase the likelihood that Kobe Bryant will step up his efforts to force his way out of the Los Angeles Lakers, according to a source.
One more premier player getting traded, but not to the Lakers, means that “the Laker situation is only going to get worse,” the person with knowledge of the situation said. “I’m sure Kobe’s wondering, ‘Why can’t we do that? If Danny Ainge got it done, why can’t we?’ ”
With the options to appease him dwindling, the next step for Bryant will be to threaten a training camp holdout and follow through on it by failing to show up when the Lakers open camp Oct. 8 in Hawaii

Because something always provokes him like the fans did and Lebron going to the finals did.He wanted a trade the whole time Lebron was going to the finals but as soon as he got swept he started apologizing.Kobe is great and talented but he’s a diva and joke no one will ever take him serious.

Kobe is a selfish brat. This isn’t Bonds who the media flat out hates. Kobe has a history of disrupting team chemistry.
EDIT: Nobody in the NBA has a rep like Kobe. If he didn’t take 45,000 shots he would never have gotten 81 points.

Well, I hope he does fail to show up for training camp. Let the naive lovers finally see what a punk this brat really is. I’m sure they’ll make even more excuses if this comes to happen. I can hardly wait to see what they are.

because the writers need to sensationalize whatever they can to get readership…its a lot like the news, if it was all good news who would watch, or care… readers and viewers want controversy, villany…topics they can sit on either side of…something with a mysterious side, something outrageous…readership and viewership is what the sponsors are looking for…if it was all black and white, fact based, it would be boring…

first, SAMUEL S, ……………….. Kobe did not get Shaq traded, Shaq wanted Shaq traded. Nuff said.
thats what the media does, put words in your mouth to stir up more S. H . I. T.! he wasnt giving them anything, so they had to create it and stir up something.

the media can say all they want but the fact remains he is not happy with the organization. I still think he will show up to camp because honestly he cant hurt his image any more than it already is. Kobe is so talented at basketball but has a rotten personality and thats why many people including me cant stand him and i really hope he never wins another ring. Hes a selfish brat who called out bynum his own teamate who is young and chased shaq out of town. He is a desease that no one wants. If you think about it no team wants him cause everywhere he goes fans of other teams boo him. His best bet is to sit there and pout at the lakers management and just hope they bring in the right people because i dont see any team except maybe the knicks even wanting to take him. He is a lousy teamate who deserves what has happened to the team.
