When should I winterize my travel trailer? ?

I plan to do one more trip this year and don’t want to wait until my pipes freeze – when should I winterize for our climate here in Colorado? And can I travel and camp in my trailer even though I have winterized it (not using water/sewer?)

Winterize it as soon as it gets down to around 45 degrees at night, and yes you can use it if it’s winterized, just don’t use the water, or sewer. Or, if you have to, use non-toxic anti-freeze. That should make limited water use ok.
You winterize before the first frost. When that occurs in your driveway is impossible for anyone but a local meteorologist to guess. A town a few miles from here always runs 5-10 degrees colder, because it’s in a valley, so even the average date for the area would be too late. (Assuming that global warming isn’t extending your summer the way it is near the Atlantic.)
