Where are secluded campsites east of Oklahoma City?

Anywhere between Oklahoma City and Chattanooga? I love Chilhowee in TN. It is great tent camping 7 miles off the main road and no city lights. I’m looking to go camping with some friends. We will be driving in from different areas of the country. Not looking for back country camping, just something far off the road and away from town.

Thanks!

Check out Tims Ford State Park in Southern Middle TN at http://www.tn.gov/environment/parks/TimsFord/index.shtml
It is away from town on a beautiful lake. There is tent camping and cabins, boating, fishing, a Jack Nicklaus golf course, and lots of other activities. Nearby (but not too close) you can visit Jack Daniel’s and George Dickel distilleries, Walking Horse Museum, Beechcraft Heritage Museum, Old Stone Fort State Archaeological Park, and lots of antique shops.

Cherokee National Forest. (A few miles farther east from Chattanooga.)
