im fifteen and ive been working at a restaurant for over a year now and i need a change. Any ideas? And im having a hard time finding places. i tried being a camp counselor but i dont have any connections and looking online doesnt help much. It just has different types of camps to sign up for… not to apply. please help!
One of the best places to find summer/part-time work is in retail. You should go to your favorites couple of stores and do the following:
Ask to speak with the manager
Let the manager know how much you love the store
Ask the manager if he/she is hiring
You will need to have your working papers. I was a retail manager for over 10 years and would love it when customers wanted to become employees. To a manager, that means that hopefully you will love the clothes/items you are selling as much as the manager does!
