Where can i find a good camping ground or park in stark county, ohio with low fees?

I am looking for a good camping ground or park in stark county, Ohio preferably close to Massillon or canton with low nightly fees. but with a good feel to it. I’m looking for a regular campground not a resort! i want the experience to be a life lesson not a luxury trip! if you could please help me, thank you

    Findlay Lake State Park

    At Findley Lake State Park you can reserve one of 272 non-electric camping sites. Also available to rent are two camper cabins and a group camping site that can accommodate 40 people. Feel free to bring your pets if you reserve one of their pet-designated sites. The campground offers a fully stocked camp store, comfort stations with showers and flush toilets, laundry facilities, and a recreation area. Enjoy many family friendly activities such as hiking the campground’s ten miles of trails, taking a picnic, enjoying a bike ride, renting a boat, or even trying your luck at disc golf. Available to the avid sportsman are fishing and hunting (water fowl) opportunities.

    Portage Lakes State Park

    Portage Lakes State Park has 74 non-electric campsites available for you to reserve. Camping with your pets is allowed at designated sites. Available for camper use are vault latrines and a dump station. Activities offered include five miles of hiking trails, swimming, picnicking, waterfowl hunting, fishing, and boating. Boats are available for rent. Also on hand are various sports opportunities such as volleyball, basketball, and horseshoes. This park is ideal for the camper who desires a simple but enjoyable camping experience.

    West Branch State Park

    West Branch State Park offers everything that the modern camper desires. They have multiple types of campsites available:

    29 full-service campsites
    155 campsites with 50 amp hook ups
    14 non-electric campsites
    One group campsite that can accommodate 50 people
    For you comfort, there are shower houses with heated showers and flush toilets, laundry facilities, and a trailer dump station. The park offers 41 miles for hiking, 20 miles for horseback riding, and 7 miles for mountain biking. Also enjoy swimming, fishing, hunting, and boating. Boats are available for rent; however, you will need to provide your own horse. The swimming area includes a snack bar, shower house, and changing booths.

    Punderson State Park

    Punderson State Park is an excellent campground if you want more to your camping experience. They offer numerous camping/lodging options:

    196 campsites with electric
    5 full hookup campsites
    25 group campsites
    26 family cottages
    31 lodge rooms
    The lodge includes indoor and outdoor swimming pools, dining rooms, meeting rooms, and a restaurant. The cottages will sleep six people. They have two bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom with a shower, a dining room, and a screened in porch. The camping area provides shower houses that include flush toilets, a dumping station, and pet camping. In your spare time you can enjoy many different activities. Take a hike on their 14 miles of trails, rent a boat, take a swim in the lake or one of the pools, or even hit the links for a round of golf at the camp’s own 18-hole course. Make sure you make a tee-time for the weekends.
