Where Do I Turn To Find My Navy Recruit Pictures?
I’m Trying To Retrieve Pictures That Were Taken Back In Boot Camp. I Started Boot Camp On
January 2009 And Graduated On The 27th Of February With Division 111. During That Time,
Pictures Were Taken Of All The New Recruits And Put Into A Photo Album Like A Yearbook. Also, The Graduation Ceremony Had Been Filmed And Was Made Available For Purchase Along With
This Yearbook. Unfortunately, I Was Unable To Buy It At The Time. I’m Hoping That These Memories Are Still On File With The Command At RTC Great Lakes Illinois So I Can Still Buy Them, Or If Someone Would Be Generous Enough To Step Forward And Share These Pictures With Me… I Just Don’t Know How To Obtain Them From The Command. If There’s Anyone Who Knows How To Find This, Please Contact Me. I’m Trying To Get These Photos Sent Back To My Family In Hawaii… My Mother Would Be Very Happy.
Thank You For Your Help And For Your Generous Response

The Navy Exchange uses a contractor to take the pictures, produce the cruise book and sell it. If you didn’t buy it at the time all you can do is contact the NEX business office at Great Lakes and see if the contractor has some left over, which I doubt.
Try writing the “Public Affairs Office” where you took “Boot Camp’. If that fails, contact your Congressman.
