Where in California do you suggest camping for the thanksgiving weekend ?

I know there are lots of options for snow and ski but I’m not into snow I prefer green areas near rivers where you can rent a cabin for 2 days..

Go towards the coastal areas. Also, the foothills are starting to green up this time of year, and are below the snow level.

Staying in a cabin is not camping, If you like green over snow try the coastal ranges Big sur is popular in the winter the various resorts also have cabin rentals. I my self love the desert in the winter with Joshua tree being my favorite, no cabins though. Nearby is Desert Hot springs resort and nothing beats soaking in a hot natural spa and taking in the vistas of the desert.
