who offers guided paddling camping trips in Michigan?

I would like to take a paddling / camping trip somewhere in Michigan. There are lots of places to do this but, like any traveling trip, there is the issue of getting back! I know of some companies that offer such trips out west; are there any companies which offer guided tours of paddling / shore camping in MIchigan?

You won’t necessarily need a guide. Many liveries offer shuttle service as well as boat rentals.

The best trips that I have enjoyed in Upper Michigan were canoe rentals from Watersmeet. The rental place, Sylvania Outfitters, will deliver your canoe to the chain of lakes at Sylvania Wilderness Area. In mid-September, the mosquitoes are dead and the turning leaves are gorgeous. Rock bass inhabit the lakes. Once you are past the boggy area at the trailhead campground, the four lakes have very few mosquitoes even during mid-summer. The portages among lakes are very brief, unlike some in the Boundary Waters Wilderness Area of northern Minnesota.
