Why does Vikings management allow Favre to sabotage them?

He is so out-of-sync with his receivers, it is sad. But it is no ones fault but Favre’s. They have training camp and preseason and other mini-camps so that a rapport and timing can be built between teammates. Everybody does this except Favre. I’m sorry but throwing to some high school kids in your hometown may be awesome for everybody involved but it does nothing but hurt the Minnesota Vikings and their fans. A Vikings receiver is going to come out of their route a little quicker than a junior flanker from high school.

C’mon Favre. We all respect and like you. But your lack of preparation has your team 0-2 with a vicious schedule coming up. Yes the game was close yesterday. However, that is due more to the Dolphins almost giving it away than you taking it.

Very selfish Brett.
Jimi,

I don’t know, why do you have 1200 answers in only 5 months? Nothing better to do? Only 20% best answer? Sad.

  1. Labatt Jones says:

    It’s actually “Bert” Favre.

When “Brett” Favre came back only for the money he was no longer entitled to be called by his real name.

angryman go die in a hole please

That’s why the Vikings are four-time Super Bowl losers – and the Packers are three-time Super Bowl winners.

Vikings let themselves get jerked around – Packers won’t be jerked around.

I agree but why do Steelers fans defend a rapist because he is their QB, some answers will never be known.

Hey Jimi, I guess you have evidence that Ben raped that girl in Georgia. If so give it to the Georgia district attorney because he sure didn’t have any to prosecute Ben. You should know all the facts before spouting off and condemning someone without proof of your accusations.

Getting back to the actual football question that was asked, yes Brett should have retired or reported to training camp. Even though he played well last year without the benefit of working out with a team, doesn’t mean it would happen again this year. That’s why they they have training camp, to work with your teammates and develop some sort of chemistry with the receivers. I know that Sidney Rice not being with the team hurts, but Brett threw some balls that even Sidney couldn’t have caught. It is painful to watch a great QB who should have retired while he was on top end his career like this. It is only two games and a lot of football is still to be played but Brett and the Vikes have a lot of offensive issues
