why is it so cool to hate America?
Everyone in my neighborhood is so anti-American. I don’t get it.
I mean sure, we did push all of those native Americans to desolate wasteland reservations in the pursuit of land. And we did slaughter them too. And we did start a conflict with Mexico just to get some extra land for ourselves.
and yeah we did sponsor a coup in Colombia just so we could build the Panama canal. and so what, we helped destroy the Hawaiian monarchy just so we could grow some pineapples. i would’ve done the same thing.
And we did deny naturalization to Chinese and Japanese peoples in the 1800s. Right after we forced their countries to sign unequal treaties… and after we forced them to build a railroad and live in internment camps.
But apart from that, there really is no reason to hate our country, is there? big deal we killed millions of people, whatever! i’m proud of our country even with its alleged “spotted” past.
other countries have done way worse things than us. like the UK, they got in a war with China just so they could sell drugs. that to me is worse than any genocide or sabotage or ethnic hatred.

Mr. Diogenes in the Wilderness: I don’t see why you’re bringing these subjects into the discussion. Not once did I ever mention how evil white people are. Nor did I suggest that the U.S. is the only country to oppress people. I did not say that hating America was cool, because I would never think like that- I guess I should have put quotation marks around “cool.” And where are you getting at with kicking everyone out of the country?!
And this “diatribe” that you speak of is indeed fact. Clearly you have been napping in history class!

I donno I love america but I think it is because many teachers in america tell their students america is a bad place.
Who says it’s cool? And Freddie, There are a lot of of young impressionable ignorant people on here who might take your diatribe as facts. Don’t you owe it to them as a rational American adult to get the facts straight? And Freddie, if the white race is so evil, how then can they be the only race to try to assimilate all other races in their culture and societies? If we are so evil as to do that, does that mean that the other races who don’t do that are so good? And if we want to become good ourselves, does that mean we should become like them?
Does this mean that we, as a race, that has given so much to the world, should kick every other culture and race out of the country?
