Why would superdelegates back Obama because of the attacks Clinton has made on the issues of his character?

Didn’t he take a few digs at her as well? And don’t the superdelegates think Obama will be subjected to the same thing in the general election?

“One superdelegate, Reggie Whitten of Oklahoma, endorsed Mr. Obama on Tuesday because, he said, he believed the candidate needed a new public vote as the Clinton camp was battering him daily over the bitter remark.”

They are looking out for their own interest. They could be considered racist and not be reelctable.

It’s amazing that so many of the Clinton colleagues who know them best have endorsed Obama.

    They shouldn’t.

Because Hillary started with the fighting and it seems to be the only way she knows how to play politics. Granted it’s the way it’s always been done but Barak is trying to do things differently

Just excuses so their politcal career wont be over when Obama messes the US up if elected. Don’t believe any politician. Same here in Indiana. Newbies to Congress will always go for the newbies of a primary.

In my opinion the democrats have been highjacked by the liberals left…They have completely turned their back on the moderates in their party. This liberal bunch of radicals are confused from the superdelegates right down to their voters. They have no idea what the majority American people want or need. There only concern is their left agenda.

There is a difference between questioning someones character and just making the crap up to destroy someones character. She says that he is capable of being President but she tries to belittle the man’s character in the same breathe. Really, why not just focus on why you would be better. She is in capable of demonstrating her strengths WITHOUT trying to bring Obama down. What does that tell you about her?
That’s not Politics, that’s “i know you are but what am i” foolishness. It’s not about Obama or Hillary, it’s about the people. Period. Obama gets that. Hillary for some reason thinks she is owed this Presidency and she will do ANYTHING to get it.
    That disturbs me.

They are just siding with the person winning. All Hillary has to do is keep winning primaries and they will all return to her. These people are snakes and go to the highest bidder. They do not care about you or this country they are just looking out for themselves. As far as attacks on Obama, he ain’t seen nothing yet.

Obama ALWAYS wants to debate the issues. Hillary wants to play dirty politics and avoid the issues. I don’t think McCain is dumb enough to play this same game in November. I think he will stick to the issues and not bother with personal attacks. Who is avoiding the issues here? That would be Hillary. Look at these attacks. How are they beneficial to Obama not being a good president, to Hillary being a good president, and helping the democratic party? I want an honest president. That would be Obama. I believe he is too honest for some. We are used to lying dirty politicians. Hillary fits that stereotype. Obama does not.
