Would you hire me as a baby sitter?

I am applying for the position of a baby sitter on a reliable, well known sitter website. I am emailing the person in response to an ad that they put out. Here is my letter that I am sending her. Does this sound okay?

Hi ———-,

My name is Theresa ——— and am a student at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I’m interested in the position of baby sitter for your 3 year old and 18 month old twin girls. I am available on Saturday and Sunday mornings from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. I have experience working with children. I was a summer camp counselor at Sangrock Black Belt World, located in Matthews, N.C. I worked with children ages 3-6. As a camp counselor, I organized age appropriate games for the children, some of which included age-appropriate physical fitness games while others were more focused on values such as self-control, self esteem, etc. I also organized crafts for the kids. Besides for working with young children, I also occasionally work with school age children when I help out during the regular classes offered at the school. I have experience working with children in a one on one setting, but also have experience working with multiple children.

I have my own transportation, am not a smoker, and have a flexible schedule. I can prepare meals for your children as well as help with the laundry and dishes. I am a baby sitter certified by the American Red Cross and I am also CPR certified. I am dependable and am on time. I would be happy to speak with you so that you can get to know me better. My cell phone is ————-. I can also provide you with my own personal email, if you prefer to contact me that way.

I hope you had a good holiday and have a happy new year!

Sincerely,
Theresa ——-
Steven, could you at least tell me why?

Take out all that shit you made up about age appropriate games and appropriate physical activity.

Let the kids do what they want, but keep them in line if they engage in acts of beta phaggotry

add that you have references available on request. ask references to write letters of recommendation.
have copies of red crosss and CPR certificates available. tell them you can work as a nanny according to your school schedule. and after an interview and recommendation from a relative or family friend, i would hire you.
