that’s more money in OUR pockets!!!! Why would you oppose that? Unless you are a low life scumbag who doesn;t work or contribute to society…. OUR lovely government steals enough TAXES from the people, yep, we need roads and highways, fire police, etc. but this is way way too much that we are paying… are we really free or just slaves?

Giving a tax break to those who really need it,,,, what is the incentive to work when we all pay such high taxes? A tax break to help small business possibly hire more employees, a tax break to buy work related equipment, expand you business, I CERTAINLY would not stick my neck out financially when the government is constantly in my pocket book taking from me what I’ve earned, I just couldn;t take the chance when I’m just barely paying the bills and employees the way it is…. it’s like a MONOPOLY game but you know someone is cheating and there’s no money in circulation that can be used, all of the properties are own by the government and it’s your turn to roll the dice….. I personally flip the board over and all the game pieces hit the floor and say screw it, I’m done, game over, I quit.

Most of those are local taxes that Congress has no control of. But yes, Repubs for at least the last 18 months have been suggesting a waiver of all Fed taxes for a year or 2 but Obama and his wizards of smart thought they had a better idea. Wrong.
You only gave us the short list, there are 213 various taxes in the USA that take away an average 50% of our wages.
We are fixated on income tax, we don’t even think of the other 212 taxes, if we did, the people would have a tax revolt. Notice the newspaper concentrate on income tax and rarely talk about the other ones.

You’re side assumes that lower taxes means more money in your pocket. For the majority; this has proven to not be the case. Shareholder aggression against workers only sinks class mobility and dims dreams reward.
