Can I drive an RV I bought on ebay back home before title transfer?

The RV is located 800 miles away. I paid the deposit and will bring the balance with me. Is it legal to drive it back prior to title transfer and registration? Also, will I be able to insure it prior to these steps?
You have to have title, tags and insurance.
Some states offer a temporary title & tags for the purpose.
Some dealers owners will trust you to return their plates after you get home.
If not, get the documents and register/insure before you leave.
