Can you park your RV over night in a walmart parking lot?

I am going to Indo California for the stagecoach country music festival and was wondering if you can park your RV overnight in the parking lot at walmart to sleep in?

Used to be that Wal Mart was a good place to stop for the night while traveling cross country, but just like anything else that’s a good idea… A few jerks have abused the privilege and ruined it for everyone else. They have caused many Wal Mart stores across the country to restrict the use of their parking lots. Some stores have gone as far as placing hight restricting barricades over the entrances to store lots, so you can’t even drive your RV or travel trailer in to their lots to park and shop.

Call or e-mail ahead to make sure you are welcome, or you may find a rent-a-cop banging on the side of your camper in the middle of the night, telling you to move on or be towed.

BTW, some towns have passed laws against it.
Mine is one of them, I helped pass the law…..
