Do I need a tag for my pop up camper?
ByI just bought a pop up camper without a title do i need to do something like have it tagged or insured or get the title for it???
it’s a pop up pull behind. how would i go about getting it tagged and if so why doesnt my lawnmower trailer have to be tagged/????

yes, anything attached to your car needs it own tag and registered. insurance is your choice

Is it a pop up camper that slides into a pick-up bed, or a pull behind trailer that is a pop up. If it is a slide in camper, no nothing needed. If it is a pull behind pop up trailer it would have to be licensed.

If it has wheels that touch public roadways when being transported, it needs tags. This includes your lawnmower trailer. You just haven’t been stopped for it yet. You need a title to get it registered.

In the USA it depends on your state laws. In my state a pop up camper does not need a plate. Yours might. Look on your state DMV website
