do you consider it real camping, when people stay in a RV and have the sattalite tv and the AC and not a tent

don’t you go camping to get away from all that stuff at home. why bring it all with you, i think i would just get a cabin if i didn’t want to use a tent.
I like just going out with a tent. I’m looking to buy a little pop up camper, but I think that’s as far as I would go. “Hey kids, let’s go camping! I’ll set up the satellite TV and the recliners!”
Since I don’t camp that would be my dream camping day IF I ever went. But seeing as that will never happen, I’m good.
I feel the same. I really enjoy tent camping and going rustic. I am starting to get into hiking and backpacking and I would love to go on multi-day hikes and just live off of what I can carry on my back.
Its thrilling to get away from all the urban noise and junk for a bit to enjoy nature.
Hey..if people are having fun and enjoying their family..I couldn’t care less if they call a night at the Ritz camping Who cares.
No! And people like that are one of the reasons I don’t go camping anymore. Common courtesy seems to have gone the way of the dodo. Instead of going camping to get away from it all, too many people these days bring it all with them.

no sattelite tv no ac maybe a radio to relax with other wise the rest is bull if camping is what you consider that camping
Give me the clothes on my back and I’ll stay out there with no problems. Who needs modern stuff lol. I do find it kind of hard to get people to go with me without a tent for the weekend though lol.
By the way rocks are your best friends trying to catch food to eat. You need good aim though. And trees make a good place to hide when you are being chased by a wild animal lol
Survival training was fun eventhough I was almost attacked by a Deer because I was eating berries from I guess his spot. lol
