Drive from Houston, TX to Wichita, KS?
How long do you think it will take to drive from Houston, TX to Wichita, KS. I will be driving an SUV pulling a pop-up camper (adds extra time for gas stops). I will be heading directly north up I-45 which eventually becomes I-35 I think. My guess….12 hours??? Has anyone made the drive?

You’ll be taking I-45 to I-35 I guess.
12 hours, counting food, bathroom and gas stops isn’t out of line. The distance is about 600 miles, so you’d be averaging 50 mph.
You’d probably be doing 65, and stopping every four hours for gas, and when you’re not stopped for gas stopping every two hours to use the bathroom or stretch your legs, ESPECIALLY with more than one person.
Eleven or twelve hours.
I’ve only driven to OKC, never the whole distance.
