Depends! With home prices dropping steadily it may be a good idea to live in an RV awhile and just see how low they go.
It’s handy to live in an RV because if you do seasonal work, or relocate with your job, or change jobs often, you can just unhook and go where the work is.
Of course gas, insurance, maintenance is high, but right now if you can find a deal on a good used RV it may make more sense than buying a house.
Nobody knows yet how far housing prices are going to drop!

at $3.00 a gallon for gas and that they get about 6mpg, yeah, it`s bad.

At to days gas prices. It would probably spend more time home than motoring.

This depends entirely upon the individual financial circumstances of the buyer. For some, it’s not a problem and for others it’s downright stupid.
Only you know the answer.
