@CI9TK agree with your comment. Also many buyers of motor RV’s also purchase a small car to tow. I think the truck camper option is a smart buy for a lot of people.
Truck campers are the most expensive unpowered RV per square foot. However they are built stronger since they are expected to be taken off road & are unquestionably the most versatile RV type out there. That is why I have owned 2 so far including my current SnowRiver. That particular camper even has leather recliners.

I like what you said: “Bigger isn’t better, better is better”. I would add that most people, when saddled with what amounts to another mortgage on a strictly temporary home, become unhappy pretty quickly with the lack of value versus debt.
