No sound and Picture is black and white when using A/V cables to hook up a DVD to a TV?
I used RV cables (the red, yellow and white cables) to hook up my dvd player to my tv. The picture comes in black and white and there is no sound. Do you know what the problem could be?
You either have a bad set of cables, or they are not connected to the proper output (or configured incorrectly) on the DVD player. Some older players must be set-up for certain playback modes, so check the manual or the menu options.
