retired living in a camper or rv?
anyone out there retire at 62 and draw social security only? about $1200.00 a month. im thinking about getting a camper or a used rv.or something big enough to live in.with a bath or shower. and work part time somewhere. Is there any place in fla.or on the coast somewhere to rent a spot to park , and just relax. go fishing. do what i want, Is that possible? anyone out there doing that? and? how is it working out for you? im 60 now. drive a truck. and really tired of the hustle bustle. and traffic.im going to quit my full time job in 2 years. and draw s.s. ill still have to work somewhere part time, i know… Just Wondering. thanks, jimmy


Those places are all over Florida. Obviously, they are cheaper in the more rural areas. You can still get close to the water for a decent price. The biggest problem is the job market in Florida. There are many homes and condos in Florida for $50,000 or less. Some are only 10 minutes to the water too. Pick an area you might like, then look on realtor.com.
