The Motorhomes – Into The Night

The Motorhomes, a 5-piece rock band out of Jönköping, Sweden, released two albums. The first, Songs for me (and my baby), released in 1999, yielded the hit Into the night, which received substantial radio and video airplay in the Nordic region. Their follow-up was the 2002 album, The long distance runner, which scored a minor hit with “The man”, but failed to drum up the same attention as their debut. With this, the members of the band decided to call it quits, and the Motorhomes split up. This music video has been uploaded to give people the chance to discover this band and is done so with all the respect to the band. If you want to know more about the band and what the members are doing now please visit the singer Mattias Edlund’s homepage at: www.myspace.com Into The Night lyrics: Into the night, we’re alright Into the pale moonlight nothing could go wrong When you’re alone, carry on Pull out the nails from your bones keep on, keepin on You’ve got nothing to fear, promise you will be there nothing will go wrong Don’t chase the beat of your heart Don’t let yourself fall apart nothing could go wrong You’ve got nothing to fear, promise you will be there nothing will go wrong This pain put there by your loved ones Goes deep into your bones that carry your body Into the night it’s alright Into the pale morninglight nothing has gone wrong And nothing will go wrong

The dog doesn’t necessarily die, but the ending of course is meant to show that the agency never intended to bring the dog back alive.

  3. Mesemeriz says:

It died just like Lajka did. The scientists in russia never planned on bringing the dog back to earth alive. Really sad…

The music video is fiction, yes, but it shows something that is based on a true story. Search on wikipedia for “Laika” for more info..

  9. WolfGrin86 says:

This song is so sad it, took my dogs name from Laika as tribute to the spacedog Laika. Still amaze me that alot of people dont even know what im talking about when they ask about the name.

Without science, you’d mostly likely be really really dead… From a disease of some sort, or most likely you’d never be born cause either of your parents, or most likely both of them, would have been dead long before you’d have any chance of being conceived. That’s assuming THEY would have been alive in the first place.

Also, “hunt and kill your own food” wouldn’t have been the biggest problem… Personally I’d be more worried about the very real risk of “being hunted and eaten”…

  16. Kanechokeslam says:

I am a 19 year old guy who rarely cries, but this song is so melancholic and beautiful, not to talk about the video. I cry every time I see this.

  17. marialou66 says:

  21. 6969SpAcE6969 says:

“hunt and kill your own food”? what’s science done to prevent this? Without science I’d still be eating as a vegitarian. And I didn’t mean ‘all’ fucking literally you cock wrangler. And I don’t think science can ever avoid us of suffering, it either causes it, or it’s only a temporary contrast from it… so suck me off

  22. kloroxownz says:

All the suffering brought on by science? Are you retarded? How about all the suffering avoided by science. Without Science you wouldn’t have shit, you’d have to hunt and kill your own food with fucking sticks and rocks. Keep that in mind. Regardless though this video makes me cry.

  23. 6969SpAcE6969 says:

Aahh, I see now. And I am disturbed. I can’t imagine the fear that being must have felt. Mankind eh.. how great we are. All the suffering in this world brought on by science, religion, and governments when it is just simply about ‘love’ ..

  24. AlisinKills says:

    This is a gorgeous song.

  25. FallOutJessica7 says:
